WORSHIP PASTOR

Life Church Huntsville is looking for a full-time Worship Pastor to join our pastoral team and lead our worship ministry into its next season. Life Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church family of more than 1,000 people. ABOUT THE POSITION
The Worship Pastor will lead the worship ministry of Life Church and oversee the planning and preparation behind our services.
We are looking for a pastor who is passionate about leading worship and has a genuine heart for people. The right person will build a healthy team, develop other leaders, and value both the presence of God and excellence in ministry.
Our worship style is contemporary and Pentecostal. The Worship Pastor will work closely with the Pastoral Team to plan our services and will also oversee the Production Director and production ministry.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee worship during all weekly worship services.
- Select songs and plan worship sets for each service.
- Recruit, audition, schedule, train, and pastor worship team members while developing new leaders and giving people opportunities to grow.
- Manage worship schedules and team communication through Planning Center.
- Support and help develop the worship ministries of Life Church Youth and Young Adults.
- Lead the Production Director and oversee audio, lighting, livestream, screens, stage readiness, and other production areas.
- Manage the worship and production budgets and help plan equipment purchases.
THE RIGHT CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Demonstrate biblical character, humility, integrity, and a genuine heart for people.
- Have previous experience leading a worship ministry and be able to confidently lead musicians and vocalists.
- Have working knowledge of vocal leadership, instrumentation, musical arrangement, and worship technology.
- Be familiar with Planning Center, MultiTracks, and ProPresenter, or be willing and able to learn them.
- Be a relational and unifying leader who can build a healthy team and develop others.
- Be organized, dependable, teachable, collaborative, and able to communicate clearly.
- Align with the beliefs, values, and Pentecostal identity of Life Church Huntsville.
